Editorial Policies

Generally speaking, I (Aaditya Hriday) write, test, and document the vast majority of articles and fixes on this site. Even when I use guest authors or external contributors, it becomes a rigorous collaboration with me heavily editing and verifying the steps against my own hardware.

All logs and posts I write go through the following strict checks:

  • Original Content: The guide is based on an actual issue I encountered and fixed, written by me.
  • Technical Accuracy: The solution is fact-based and verified to work on the specified hardware/software versions in the MyTechLogs Lab.
  • Language Quality: Checked to be free of spelling and grammar errors.
  • Source Citation: Any sources used for official documentation, software links, or supporting quotes are cited and linked to credible sources (e.g., Microsoft Developer Network, specific hardware documentation).
  • Uniqueness: Is not duplicated or plagiarized content.
  • Media Rights: Uses royalty and copyright-free images, or original screenshots taken by me.
  • Copyright Protection: May not be duplicated or copied in any way without express written permission from me.
  • Verification: Is either my documented experience (opinion on the best fix) or, if fact-based, is factually correct information with corroborating links to official technical sources.

I reserve the right to go back to any post on my site and update, alter, edit, or delete it at any time, especially when new software versions (e.g., Windows updates) render an old fix obsolete.

If you feel there is any content on my site that does not meet these technical standards (disagreeing with my recommended fix is NOT the same thing) please contact me immediately at admin@mytechlogs.com.
